I have ridden over 100 saddle (to put it modestly) and owned most of them. This is absolutely the very best saddle I have ridden.
I am 74 years old, have arthritis of the spine and have much back pain after 2 hrs. That is not true when riding this saddle!. It has the narrow seat which helps with hip/spine problems plus the stirrup leathers are narrower than many saddle and makes it easy to swing legs forward (which relieves any back pain I have starting).
Of course with Cordura stirrup fenders there is no stiffness or pressure of trying to twist the stirrup as there is with most all leather western saddles.
only complaint is I am looking for a used one but the owners love them so much they aren't selling!!

After riding a heavy leather western saddle for years, I was nervous about this new style, but was interested in the lightweight option. From the first ride, I could tell this was a fantastic saddle for me and my horse. My horse actually gaited without being queued and he has a real spring in his step. My husband bought one too and is equally impressed.
